I'm nearly finished with 3rd installments. Just in time for the final ones later today! Love the appropriation and re-figuring of the mythology.
Oh dear
*anxious murmurings for Eve*
I really liked that you hinted on a lot of things instead of telling it straight what's happening.
And this sentence, "Charon prided himself on his peaceful nature. Nothing more peaceful than the silence of death" this is awesome. 🙂

I am intrigued by the slight dark tone…wonder what next week will bring for Eve.
ooo, can't wait to see what happens next!!!
I had to go back and read the second installment. Oh, how delightful. Such treachery. Really liked the "slapped his fat bottom" imagery 🙂
I can't wait for the confrontation between Charon and Aubrey. Oh, poor Eve.
……….dhole
This character is creepy . . . in a good way, since I really want to know what's going to happen!
So it's a comedy? Only kidding. Excellent cliffhanger. Excited for the conclusion!
I loved this! The tension is killing me, fantastic job!
That was interestingly different. Sinister and creepy at the same time. I'm on the edge of my seat, here! 🙂
There's definitely a touch of creepy in this installment. I like it. 🙂
Making my rounds of the 3rd week entries 🙂 I enjoy the way you've depicted Cupid.
You are creating a fascinating world there, or should I say a version of Renaissance which I am eager to visit next week again? 🙂
Yipes ! I hope Eve catches on quickly.
oooooh! But he is supposed to know her name! Will she know he is not the one? Argh the short form!
Really fantastic! I have to admit…these cliffhangers are killing me!
I like how you tied in all the mythology characters within the tale.
